Nelson Mandela rightly said “Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world”.
Arya Vidhyasshram International Residential School primarily intends to nurture the shelved potential in students providing an ideal platform for them to channelize their creative outbursts and lend expression to their thoughts and views on various aspects in serene manner.
Our motto “Progress through Wisdom” is at the heart of everything we do at the school. We aim to not just impart knowledge to the students, but also to inculcate in them - wisdom, compassion and a humanitarian spirit. We have a multi-cultural student population; hence we teach children the importance of tolerance and respecting each other’s culture. Discipline, values and integrity are the foundation of the school. Our purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows.
Arya Vidhyasshram is set on an area of 6 acres situated in amidst small village with beautiful serene which helps every child to explore the world with all of their senses, experiment in the environment, and communicate their discoveries to those around them as we know every child is born naturalist.. We live today in a world that is so very different from the one we grew up in, the one we were educated in. The world today is changing to such an accelerated and we as educators need to pause and reflect on this entire system of education.
Children are encouraged and taught how to think and not what to think. Teamwork is the hallmark of our school, committed and supportive management, dedicated teachers, caring and co-operative parents blend harmoniously to create a child-centric school. It is natural to find in this ambience, the intensive use of a variety of thinking activities, strategies and group dynamics so that the classrooms become alive. In such a surrounding when work and effort is valued, the child's self-esteem is heightened, and from this results self-motivation.
We try to understand and work with each child, and we firmly believe that it is our responsibility to enable the child in our care to develop as a whole. Our Vision in Teaching is “To motivate the weak, to address the average and challenge the gifted.”
The School recognizes that parents are the first educators of the children. Schools run by the trustee, help parents in all-important task. My appeal to Parents is to please make time to ask your ward specific questions about their time at school. Send in your feedback and keep abreast of relevant information regarding your child's performance. Your interest and concern in the school progress will motivate them to do their best.
Communicate with your child's teachers and staff members to establish a successful home/school connection. Parents, please help us by reinforcing school expectations at home. With your help, we will continue to be a school community in which every person feels respected, valued, and is encouraged and challenged to achieve the highest levels.
My word to teachers
“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”
My word to students
“You must completely dedicate yourselves to it. To do less will be to let down your country, your state, your parents, your teachers, and ultimately, yourselves. Remember this: The only good citizen is the well-educated citizen.”
